Luxury self-catering accommodation in CliftonLuxury self-catering three-bedroom beach house sleeping six people, just 50m from the white sands of Clifton Beach - Ranked one of the best beaches in the world by The Travel Channel.
Nestled in the amphitheatre of Table Mountain, sheltered from the summer wind, Christine’s Beach Cottage is in a heritage area, which means it maintains its atmosphere of a quiet seaside retreat. It’s hard to believe that the centre of a major cosmopolitan city is just minutes away from this secluded and quiet setting with its much sought after views.
Natural timbers, sandstone walls, white linen, glass, open-plan rooms and an expanse of light and blue sky – Christine’s beach cottage has been lovingly designed and built by the owners who have optimised the views and enhanced the beauty of the surroundings. It offers you two open-plan kitchens and lounges with glass sliding doors leading out to your private entertainment decks and patios. The cottage is one of an elite community of beach houses in Clifton, just two kilometres from Camps Bay but without the commercialisation and exposure to the south easterly winds.
Come and experience our legendary sunsets, evening sundowners, languorous breakfasts on our sheltered patio overlooking the sea in our enviable Mediterranean climate. Christine's Beach Cottage is located at Clifton, Cape Town. It is set amongst leafy indigenous vegetation and fruit trees, and has beautiful views of yachts in the bay through shady trees with a panorama from the sea up to the summit of Lion's Head Mountain behind. Access to the beach is down a shady flight of steps to the sand and with a privacy that sets it apart from the crowds. The building is north-facing to capture the winter sun, and is sited above the light mist that lingers on the beach on some evenings. Being near to the road makes it convenient for carrying luggage and shopping, yet it is quiet and private. Children and accessibility issuesPlease note that the cottage cannot be considered "child safe" and is therefore not suitable for small children (1-6 years old). We would also like to advise people who have difficulty with stairs that, although it is one of the most accessible houses in the area, there are nevertheless some stairs to negotiate. Please enquire further if you have any doubts. Contact: |
